چکیده

Seasonal abundance of phytophagous, predacious, miscellaneous and soil mites associated with mango orchards were investigated in the Giza governorate. Samples taken from five different cultivars during four seasons through year 2020–2021. Different parts trees such as leaves, raceme, buds well underneath sampled at fortnightly intervals. In total, 17 species representing 16 genera 12 families feeding habits collected identified study. The relationship between predacious plant this agriculture eco-system was discussed. Family Phytoseiidae represented largest diversity reported herein, records. We anticipate that results current study may encourage establishment control programs for plant-feeding using phytoseiid mites. oils pesticides their combinations used to eriophyid mite, Cisaberoptus kenyae Keifer on leaves “Ewais” cultivar. lethal concentrations 2, 1, 0.5%. showed most effective compound mineral oil spirodiclofen essential oil, Thymus vulgaris L. This is first demonstrating C. oils, a pesticide leaves. These can be future biological pest programs.

Comparison of microwave-assisted and conventional hydrodistillation in the extraction of essential oils from mango (Mangifera indica L.) flowers.

Microwave-assisted hydrodistillation (MAHD) is an advanced hydrodistillation (HD) technique, in which a microwave oven is used in the extraction process. MAHD and HD methods have been compared and evaluated for their effectiveness in the isolation of essential oils from fresh mango (Mangifera indica L.) flowers. MAHD offers important advantages over HD in terms of energy savings and extraction ...

Mango (Mangifera indica L.) Lyophilization Using Vacuum-Induced Freezing

Abstract—Lyophilization, also called freeze-drying, is an important dehydration technique mainly used for pharmaceuticals. Food industry also uses lyophilization when it is important to retain most of the nutritional quality, taste, shape and size of dried products and to extend their shelf life. Vacuum-Induced during freezing cycle (VI) has been used in order to control ice nucleation and, con...

Volatile components from mango (Mangifera indica L.) cultivars.

The volatile components of 20 mango cultivars were investigated by means of simultaneous distillation-extraction, GC, and GC-MS. Three hundred and seventy-two compounds were identified, of which 180 were found for the first time in mango fruit. The total concentration of volatiles was approximately 18-123 mg/kg of fresh fruit. Terpene hydrocarbons were the major volatiles of all cultivars, the ...

Anthelmintic activity of unripe Mangifera indica L. (Mango) against Strongyloides stercolaris

Infections with Strongyloides stercoralis and other helminths represent important, yet often neglected issues in developing countries. Indeed, strongyloidiasis can be fatal, but only a few studies provide information regarding its health relevance in Africa. S. stercoralis is an intestinal nematode that can persist in the human host for decades after the initial infection and can progress to fu...
